The Techniques That Are Taught as NLP
NLP originated in the 1970s when John Grinder and Richard Bandler studied people who excelled in their field, with the aim of modelling their work to learn how they worked and with the aim of passing the knowledge on to others. For this reason NLP has sometimes been called the 'study of excellence'.
Since then NLP has spread into a wide range of uses and has applications in sales, therapy, education, coaching, building rapport, hypnotherapy and more.
